  • Internet accessibility policy
  • Deadline for implementation of WCAG 2.0 in public sector web sites

The underlying hypotheses are:

  • The higher the level of implementation of Internet accessibility policy, the more positive the situation of accessibility of the public websites is expected to be.
  • The earlier the deadline for the implementation of WCAG 2.0 in public sector websites, the more positive the situation of accessibility of the public websites is expected to be.

Legend

At the aggregate level (all countries, EU countries, non-EU countries), the icons show the trend of the correlation between the variables analyzed in the countries in each group. Since the data (sample) for the aggregate levels are low for statistical calculations, 17 for all countries, 13 for EU countries and 4 for non-EU countries, the correlation is not statistically significant, so the results show a merely indicative correlation:

  • Positive correlationPositive correlation (correlation coefficient greater than +0,33)
  • No correlationNo correlation (correlation coefficient between -0.33 and +0,33), and
  • Negative correlationNegative correlation (correlation coefficient less than -0.33).
