All raw data gathered from relevant countries will be available in this section and different search facilities and applications will be developed to fulfil information needs of European public managers and citizens.

Public managers

For the use of public managers, a series of aplications is going to allow them to carry out the following actions:

  • Check the findings as to the impact of real accessibility resulting from a packet of legislative actions;
  • Detect the technological sectors which need greater political and legislative support and attention.
  • Identify aspects not covered, gaps, as regards accessible electronics.
  • Obtain a clear insight into the differences between Member States, both from the technological and legislative viewpoints, and carry out various comparisons.
  • Get to know the leading Member States and the ones lagging behind as far as the development of any technological or political/legislative application or initiative is concerned.
  • Identify the indicators considered mature and consolidated and which no longer require special legislative, political or research attention.
  • Monitor and control the progress of other items of interest arising from the combination of several indicators.

European citizens

For European citizens, as well as other interest groups, the application of the balanced scorecard the Study on Monitoring eAccessibility and the development of an accessible electronic tool available on the web for the direct exploitation of the data is goint to allow to:

  • Directly access the relevant data as to the state of eAccessibility in Europe and the different Member States, as well as carrying out multiple comparisons.
  • Find out the level of development in European legislation regarding a certain technology, geographical region and other indicators, as well as carrying out multiple comparisons.
  • Carry out specific enquiries over a 24x7 system, in an accessible environment which allows them to obtain both numerical and graphical results.
