What is MEAC?

"Measuring Progress of eAccessibility in Europe" (referred to as the 'MeAC' study) was commissioned by the European Commission in 2006 as a follow-up to the eAccessibility Communication of 2005. The basic aim was to provide an evidencebase to support the future development of EU policy in the eAccessibility field. The MEAC has been the European most relevant study in legislation, policies and practices in the eAccessibility field.
